Copyright & DMCA Policy

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect listing submitters and users to do the same.

These materials are a practical starting point and are not a substitute for review by an attorney familiar with the company, data practices, locations served, and commercial relationships.

Use of content

Submit only content you own or are authorized to use. By submitting content, you grant ArtAuctionDirectory a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, format, display, reproduce, and distribute it for operating and promoting the directory. You retain underlying ownership.

Copyright notices

A copyright complaint should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.

Send notices to: Copyright Agent, ArtAuctionDirectory, info@artauctiondirectory.com. A physical mailing address and telephone number must be added here and the agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office before relying on DMCA safe-harbor procedures.

Counter-notices and repeat infringement

Valid counter-notices should contain the information required by applicable law. We may remove or disable disputed material and may terminate repeat infringers. False notices or counter-notices may create liability. Consult counsel before filing.

Trademarks and images

Auction-house names, artist names, trademarks, catalog images, and third-party materials belong to their respective owners. References are descriptive and do not imply affiliation unless expressly stated.
