Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

Independent directory only

ArtAuctionDirectory is an independent information, advertising, and referral service. We are not an auctioneer, dealer, broker, appraiser, authenticator, escrow provider, shipping provider, insurer, fiduciary, or agent for any visitor, consignor, bidder, seller, artist, or auction house.

We do not conduct auctions, accept bids, set reserves or premiums, hold property or funds, guarantee consignments, or become a party to transactions. Any transaction is solely between you and the applicable third party under that party’s terms.

Listings and submissions

Submitters must provide accurate, current, lawful information and must have the right to submit all text, images, links, and other materials. We may verify, edit for formatting, decline, suspend, rank, label, or remove a listing at our discretion.

A listing, verification badge, featured placement, editorial mention, match, or link does not constitute endorsement, certification, appraisal, authentication, or a guarantee of reputation, licensing, inventory, financial condition, performance, or results.

Paid plans and renewals

Prices, features, billing periods, taxes, and promotional discounts are disclosed at checkout. Unless expressly described as recurring, paid placements are for the stated term or event. Payment processing is provided by Stripe or PayPal under their own terms.

Launch discounts apply to qualifying purchases while offered and may not be combined with other promotions. Fees are nonrefundable after publication or delivery begins, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

User conduct

You may not submit false, deceptive, infringing, defamatory, unlawful, malicious, or privacy-invasive content; scrape or republish the service at scale; interfere with security; impersonate others; manipulate rankings; or use the service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, or unlawful trade in cultural property.

Intellectual property

The service’s design, original writing, branding, databases, and software are owned by ArtAuctionDirectory or its licensors. Factual listing information and third-party marks remain subject to applicable rights. Limited personal use does not transfer ownership.

Third-party services and links

Third-party websites, catalogs, payment processors, auction houses, appraisers, shippers, and other services are independent. We do not control their content, availability, cybersecurity, fees, premiums, taxes, conditions, authenticity determinations, payment, shipping, returns, or dispute procedures.

Disclaimers and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, or results, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtAuctionDirectory and its owners, affiliates, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, property disputes, authenticity issues, or transaction losses. Aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid us during the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions may not apply.

Indemnification, changes, and contact

You agree to defend and indemnify ArtAuctionDirectory against claims arising from your content, conduct, listings, transactions, or violation of law or these terms. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised date. Questions may be sent to info@artauctiondirectory.com. These terms should be reviewed by qualified counsel before commercial launch.
